  Leslie’s Story ~

Conor was once again lucky enough to receive an invitation to join the Purvis family in Marco Island, Florida over Christmas break.  On New Year’s Eve Day Conor sent Leslie to the salon for a manicure, pedicure, and massage.  When she returned they went down to the pool to catch the last of the day’s sun, and he convinced her to go on a walk down the beach before going to get ready to celebrate the new year.  After walking nearly a mile to a point on the beach where very few other people were around, Conor got down on one knee and proposed to Leslie, who was completely unaware of what was about to happen.  It was a joyful walk back to the condo from there as Conor helped Leslie not trip over herself as she stared at her hand the whole way home.  Susan and Linda Arbogast were instrumental in helping Conor plan a surprise party for Leslie to congratulate her later that evening.  The newly engaged couple reigned in the new year with friends and family, and plenty to celebrate.
