How we got engaged
Sunday June 26th Austin decided we needed to go play golf together, we have never played together and Austin has never really played at all but he wanted to try! So we headed out to Harrison Hills in Attica where Emily’s boyfriend works. So we get our cart and head out to hole #1. Austin had never really played before so I was a little nervous; however he ended up beating me on the first whole!! We were having a really good time and it felt really good to get my game back and Austin was doing really great for his first time! We get up to hole #8 and there was a group in front of us we were waiting on and a couple of groups behind us that we were going to let play through so we just parked the cart off to the side and we were just talking…. Well then Austin starts talking about how great the last, almost, 7 years have been and how we have been through so much and he can’t wait to be together forever….. Then he gets out of the cart and walks to my side and gets down on one knee and pulls a box out of his pocket….. I was SOOOOO excited! I started crying and he grabbed my ring finger and asked if I would marry him….. Of course I said YES and he put my ring on my finger and gave me a huge hug!!!!!! It was the happiest moment of my life! I grabbed my phone and started texting our families to tell them the good news, but everyone already knew but me! Emily ended up being at the golf course the whole time waiting for it to happen so her and Josh (and Brady! 
) came out to see us!!! We attempted to finish our last two holes but we were both so excited we couldn’t concentrate! After we finished #9 we met up with Emily and she took some amazing pictures for us all around the course! It was a WONDERFUL evening! Couldn’t have been any more perfect!
